LokSabha 2019: When did Pawar become an astrologer: Thackeray
NCP Chief Sharad Pawar also predicted on Tuesday that the BJP would be in power, but they may have to take help from smaller parties
MUMBAI: Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday criticised the NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, saying when he did become an astrologer to predict political future of others.
Thackeray further said that he fulfills the demands of other leaders’ children along with his son. “I never use others’ children only for my purpose and this is not my party’s ideology,” he said.
While criticising Pawar, Thackeray made it clear that Yuva Sena Chief Aditya Thackeray is not going to contest the election this time.
On Wednesday, Dr Sujay Vikhe-Patil met Shiv Sena Chief at his residence, Matoshree. Thackeray reacted on Pawar’s statement regarding Dr Sujay Vikhe-Patil, that his obstinate demand was not my responsibility.
Pawar also predicted on Tuesday that the BJP would be in power, but they may have to take help from smaller parties.
Reacting on this, Thackeray said, “Sharad Pawar is tallest political leader in country, but when did he become an astrologer to predict the future of political parties I don’t know?”
“We do what we say, but Sharad Pawar does exactly the opposite of what was said,” he added.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena had prepared the list of its candidates and it will be published within two days.
While talking about the Jalna seat where BJP State President Raosaheb Danve and Shiv Sena’s Minister Arjun Khotkar have a tussle, Thackeray said, “Both the candidates will come to me and I will decide after discussing with them. But there won’t be anything wrong with the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance,” he added.
