In the past, the show has launched products like the Million Dollar Miracle Bra, the Red Hot Fantasy Bra (priced at $15 million), The Heavenly Star Bra (costing $12.5 million). Now, apparently, the brand wants to project a more woke image as a company.  While the ‘angels’ are left wondering whether their jobs are safe or not, Twitterati has decided to put on the high-and-mighty hat and point out that it was about time this happened.

Victoria’s Secret model, or ‘angel’ as they are referred to, Shanina Shaik has said that the brand’s annual fashion show has been cancelled this year. The iconic show features the brand’s latest collections along with fantastic performances by pop stars.

“Oh thank god! Been waiting to hear an explanation why they haven’t updated their lingerie since the 1980s,” posted one user, which started a debate on how much one can really do differently each year with tiny pieces of garments such as underwear.

But that’s just a superficial issue. The main concern here is inclusivity. “You know what #victoriasecret also doesn’t have? Models in wheelchairs, little person models, male models, bald models, models with burn scars, etc. GET OVER IT. I’m glad they’re sticking to their guns, and cancelled the show,” posted another netizen. Another one tweeted, “I don’t give two ****s that they cancelled the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. Expand your “fantasy” to trans and plus sized models and then let’s talk.”
