It’s ‘war’ time

The teaser of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer War was released on Monday morning. When you have two of Bollywood’s biggest action heroes, the film is expected to have high-octane action. 

Produced by Yash Raj Films, War has created a lot of buzz on social media. Soon after teaser was out, a Twitter user said, “Biggest action blockbuster in the history of Indian cinema #War.” Another tweeted, “Youngest action superstar with his idol megastar. This combo is deadlier than ever. Best wishes guys well do you really need any wishes. Best wishes for them who is trying to clash with this movie.” 

The teaser shows a grey-haired Hrithik and young Tiger having a massive showdown with each other, which has increased audience’s curiosity. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor and is directed by Siddharth Anand. It’s set to release on October 2. “When you bring two of the biggest and the best action superstars of India in one film and pit them against each other, you need a title that justifies the promise of a massive showdown. Hrithik and Tiger will be seen going at each other ferociously and mercilessly and audiences will want to see who outwits whom in this incredible fight. War is the only title that could have delivered on this big promise and justifies the level of an action spectacle that the film is trying to present to audiences globally,” says Siddharth, who has earlier directed Bang Bang! Since the film’s announcement last year, YRF has been tight-lipped about project. “You’re just starting out in a world I’ve mastered, @iTIGERSHROFF. Take a seat! Presenting #WarTeaser,” Hrithik tweeted along with the teaser. It’s a known fact that Tiger considers Hrithik as his idol and the younger actor is super excited to share screen with him.
